All content generated by the AI is for discussion purposes only and must not be used as the sole basis for any clinical decision.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DebatelyAI ("the platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

DebatelyAI is a platform that enables medical professionals to:

Interact with an AI assistant (powered by OpenAI) to explore opposing viewpoints
Publish debate threads publicly as a knowledge-sharing resource
Collaborate with colleagues within a shared organization workspace

3. Eligibility

The platform is intended for use by qualified medical professionals, healthcare administrators, and medical researchers. By registering, you confirm that you are using the platform in a professional capacity.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Not include identifiable patient data in any debate, chat, or public thread
Use the platform only for legitimate professional discussion purposes
Not attempt to circumvent the AI content filters or use the platform for non-medical purposes
Keep your account credentials confidential
Comply with applicable laws, including GDPR and Romanian data protection regulations

5. No Medical Advice

All AI-generated content on DebatelyAI is produced for debate and demonstration purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice. DebatelyAI is not liable for any clinical decisions made based on content generated by the platform. Users retain full professional responsibility for their clinical judgments.

6. Intellectual Property

The platform, its code, design, and branding are owned by DebatelyAI. Content you create (debates, comments) remains yours. By publishing content publicly, you grant DebatelyAI a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform.

7. Public Content

Debates marked as public are visible to anyone. You are solely responsible for ensuring that public content does not contain confidential, sensitive, or patient-identifiable information.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the AI features, or post content that is harmful, misleading, or in breach of professional standards.

9. Limitation of Liability

DebatelyAI is provided "as is". We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DebatelyAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Romanian courts.
